ACLGIM Awards and Grants

Nominations and Applications will open in early fall 2017 and close in December 2017 (exact dates will be released in August 2017). PDFs are preferred.  Technical support is available Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern or via email at info@sgim.org.

Online Submission Instructions:

•  Login to the member’s only section of the website
•  From the menu on the left, choose Award Nominations & Applications
•  Choose “Click Here to Nominate A Member For An Award”
•  When the new dialog box appears, choose the red “Add” at the far right
•  Use the drop down to “Select an Award”
•  Double click in the “Select Nominee” box to bring up the member search box
•  When you have located the member, choose “Select” to populate the nominee box
•  You will then be prompted to upload required supporting documents for your nomination
•  Post Changes

GIM Division Chief who most represents excellence in Division leadership

ACLGIM Leadership Award

Skills in leadership in areas of academic medicine, including clinical, educational, research or administrative efforts

 Fredrick L. Brancati Mentorship and Leadership Award

Recognition of junior faculty who inspire their trainees to pursue academic GIM, and support for a trainee who aspires to become a leader in the transformation of health care through innovations in research, education, and practice


Grants

UNLTD Program

Unified Leadership Training in Diversity - Junior and mid-career faculty (i.e. instructor, assistant or associate professors) from underrepresented groups scholarship to a one-day leadership training conference, the day prior to the SGIM national meeting. $500 per fellow to defray the costs of an extra hotel night, some per diem costs, and a small portion of each individual’s plane fare.
