Important Registration Information:

  • Trainee designation applies to fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Registration fees include continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks on Friday, March 7th.
  • All participants must register for the meeting, including speakers, moderators, panel members, workshop participants, and oral and poster presenters.
  • Please note that virtual attendance and presenter-only registration options are not available.

Northwest Regional Young Scholars Program

This scholarship program is designed to allow SGIM's medical students and residents to attend its regional meetings and to develop educational and leadership skills in the field of GIM.

The scholarship is intended to offset the cost of attending your regional SGIM meeting outside of your city, including costs such as registration, poster printing, hotel, and travel up to $500.

Northwest Leadership

Each year, the Northwest Region holds elections to appoint key officials from various institutions within the region. The positions up for election are:

  • President
  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • Membership Chair
  • DEI Chair

Call for Leadership Nominations

The Northwest Leadership Board is seeking nominations for the following elected positions:

  • PresidentElect
  • Secretary/Treasurer-Elect
  • MembershipElect
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair-Elect.

Qualifications for candidacy include a history of participation in SGIM activities at the regional level. We seek to identify candidates from a range of institutions in the Northwest region.

  • Advocacy and Community Service Award
  • Award for Excellence in Clinician Education
  • Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award
  • Leadership Development Award
  • Regional DEI Award

All nominees must be members of SGIM.

CME/MOC Northwest

EARN CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDITS™ and MOC POINTS.  Attendees have 30 days following the meeting to complete the required evaluation survey(s).
