SGIM provided outside witness testimony to the Senate Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Labor-HHS appropriations bill. Our letter (1) highlights our appropriations priorities related to funding for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the National Institutes of Health, and the Health Resources and Services Administration Title VII Health Professions Workforce Programs; and (2) calls for the adoption of report language aimed at recruiting and retaining primary care physicians.
