Introduction

SGIM provides students, residents, and fellows with the means to explore and clarify their career interests and meet and exceed their chosen aspirations. As an Associate member, you will gain access to networking and career development resources, as well as an international network of primary care physicians largely based in academic and community health centers.

Investing in GIM Membership Program

The 2025 Investing in GIM Membership Program is now open and accepting applications.

SGIM offers a trainee program that provides 65 first-year Fellows with a one-year complimentary associate membership. Throughout 2025, they will have access to all the SGIM member benefits of our lifelong learning community, including career development tools, events & meetings, publications, and mentoring and networking opportunities. Refunds will not be provided for dues payments submitted after the launch of this program.

National Young Scholars Program

This scholarship program is designed to allow SGIM's medical student and resident members to attend its premier annual meeting and to develop educational and leadership skills in the field of GIM.
