Each year, the SGIM New England Region holds elections to appoint key officials from various institutions within the region. The positions up for election are:

  • President
  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • Membership Chair
  • DEI Chair

The SGIM New England Region is currently seeking nominations for Leadership and Awards.

Call for Leadership Nominations

The New England Leadership Board is seeking nominations for the following elected positions:

  • PresidentElect
  • Secretary/Treasurer-Elect
  • MembershipElect
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair-Elect.

Qualifications for candidacy include a history of participation in SGIM activities at the regional level. We seek to identify candidates from a range of institutions in the New England region.

Call for Award Nominations

The SGIM New England Region is seeking nominations for the following awards:

  • Advocacy and Community Service Award
  • Award for Excellence in Clinician Education
  • Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award
  • Leadership Development Award
  • Regional DEI Award

All nominees must be members of SGIM.
