Registration for the Southern Regional Meeting is now open. All participants must register for the meeting. This includes all speakers, moderators, panel members, workshop, oral and poster presenters. You do not need to be a member of SGIM in order to register for the meeting.

Pre-Course: POCUS for the General Internist

This pre-course will provide an introductory overview of Point of Care Ultrasound for General Internal Medicine providers. Primarily geared toward outpatient practice, this course will cover the basics of heart, lung and abdominal ultrasound, with a specific emphasis on musculoskeletal ultrasound. Learning materials will be provided in advance of the pre-course to maximize hands-on scanning time with experienced POCUS instructors from throughout the southern region. The pre-course will also cover case-based scanning and curriculum development. Registration will be limited to ensure optimal instructor-to-learner ratios.
