To better address the needs of regional membership, the SGIM Council founded the Board of Regional Leaders (BRL). The group is comprised of current regional presidents. It governs regional programs and engages with the SGIM Council to ensure the Society’s strategic goals and functions are addressed. The BRL fosters dialogue between the regions to facilitate the exchange of information and best practices, promoting and implementing innovations and scholarship in education, clinical practice, and research.
