This session reviews the most significant published advances in women’s health from March 2025 through April 2026. Presenters identified candidate articles through a systematic search of the medical literature, selecting those with strong methodological quality, clinical relevance, and potential to change practice.
Rather than working from pre-defined categories, the session draws on whatever the year’s literature turned up — potential topics include sexually transmitted infections, contraception, cancer screening and treatment in women, osteoporosis and bone health, domestic violence, women’s cardiovascular disease, menopause, and incontinence.
Selected articles are critically reviewed, with faculty using case-based vignettes to show how each one impacts clinical practice. The format is largely didactic, but faculty build in audience participation through multiple-choice questions and a closing discussion of current controversies in women’s health.
