Relationships, Belonging, and Persistence
This is a recorded session from the SGIM 2024 Annual Meeting in Boston.
Why do we feel passionate about our work and membership in SGIM? SGIM and our meetings provide opportunities to affirm our vision of a just system of care in which all people can achieve optimal health and opportunities to grow as clinicals, educators, and researchers. However, the answer to this question goes deeper. Our choice of the meeting theme, “Strengthening Relationships and Valuing Our Diversity,” started by yearlong reflection on this question. Join Dr. Martha Gerrity, SGIM’s 2023-2024 President, exploring the deeper reasons.
