The Membership Chair leads regional efforts to promote SGIM membership, particularly through regional institutional outreach. Responsibilities include serving as an active member of the national Membership Committee by participating in monthly calls and regularly contributing to national membership recruitment/retention efforts, strategizing and implementing ways to promote SGIM and spearhead in-person membership recruitment at the regional meeting, and recruiting planning committee volunteers.
