Leads the Clinical Practice Committee in advancing initiatives that support excellence in clinical practice and patient care within general internal medicine. The Clinical Practice Committee (CPC) is a working committee of General Internal Medicine experts whose mission is to generate and inspire practice innovation and transformation. The CPC identifies and disseminates best evidence and methods for practice design, quality and patient safety, and improvement of the value and experience of care for both patients and providers. The CPC also advocates for sustainable and satisfying careers for SGIM members and maintains two subcommittees: Practice Redesign, and Evidence-Based Medicine.
