Leads the Board of Regional Leaders Workgroup in advancing its mission and supporting SGIM’s strategic priorities. The Chair of the Board of Regional Leaders (BRL) coordinates the BRL’s efforts and serves as a liaison between the BRL members and the SGIM Council and staff. The BRL is comprised of the current sitting Presidents of the six realigned SGIM regions and aims to enhance the regions’ ability to provide members with SGIM benefits at the local and regional levels, including opportunities to network, learn, showcase, and share research, teaching methods, and aspects of patient care and develop leadership skills. The BRL Chair is an ex-officio, non-voting member of the SGIM Council.
