Biography
Vishnu Ilineni, M.D., is a full-time hospitalist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and an assistant professor in internal medicine at the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU. He has been actively involved with the Texas Health Fort Worth Internal Medicine Residency Program as a full-time academic hospitalist and clinician educator from the program’s inception.
Dr. Ilineni graduated from Siddhartha Medical College in India and completed his residency in internal medicine at UCSF Fresno in California. He is passionate about point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and integrating its learning longitudinally into the residency program. Dr. Ilineni lent his expertise to the development of POCUS curriculum for the Texas Health Fort Worth Internal Medicine Residency Program, where he also serves as POCUS lead. Dr. Ilineni is also very involved in resident scholarly activity and mentorship.
