Biography
Dr. Gupta is a graduate of the University of Southampton, UK. Following a brief stint in New Zealand, she moved to the US. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. She remained there as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program. She subsequently took on a more UME-focused role at Rush University in Chicago.
In 2018, she moved to Florida to seek warmer weather. Currently, she serves as the Associate Division Director for Hospital Medicine and the Director of Physician Success at Tampa General Hospital. She also serves as the Program Director for the Academy of Distinguished Educators at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida.
Of all her roles, she is most proud of her work as an advisor to medical students, a coach to residency trainees, and peer mentor to colleagues in hospital medicine and medical education.
