Dr. Ahuja has lived every facet of academic hospital medicine from emergency physician to residency program director, med-peds hospitalist to inaugural Division Chief of Adult Hospital Medicine at Stanford. Growing her division from 11 to 100 faculty and staff gave her a master class in mentorship, team-building, and developing innovative clinical programs from the ground up. As Stanford’s Chief Medical Officer for Inpatient Care, she brings institutional-level perspective to the business of healthcare. Her work at the intersection of AI, clinical practice, and medical education makes her a compelling voice on navigating the rapidly changing landscape of academic medicine.
