Dr. Stephany is what happens when clinical expertise meets leadership development and a willingness to build what doesn’t yet exist. After drafting a business plan to become Duke’s inaugural Med-Peds Hospitalist a skill she’ll tell you can be learned she went on to grow a pediatric hospital medicine program to 50 hospitalists, lead system-wide physician support programs at a major children’s hospital, and earn both a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership and a Professional Coaching Certificate through UC Berkeley. Her coaching practice, A.I.M. (Authentic, Innovative, Manageable), reflects her conviction that the best solutions combine frontline clinical insight with practical leadership and are studied for outcomes. She is one of the most practical voices in academic hospital medicine on the realities of time management, team building, and constructing a career that actually fits your life.
