Alpesh N. Amin, MD, MBA, MACP, MHM, FACC, FHFSA, FRCP (Lond), CPE is with the University of California–Irvine (UCI) He is Professor of Medicine, Business, Public & Population Health, Nursing Science, Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Science, and Biomedical Engineering at UC Irvine. He is also founding Chief & Executive Director of Hospital Medicine & Palliative Medicine. He served as the Inaugural Tom and Mary Cesario Chair (Emeritus), Department of Medicine for 16 years. In his role as Associate Dean for Clinical Transformation for UCI Health, he led the activation efforts for UCI’s $1.4B first all-electric new medical complex in Irvine, CA. He is Co-Director & Medical Director for the Institute for Precision Health at UC Irvine.
