Biography

Aditi Puri, MD, MSEd is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loyola MacNeal Hospital. She has served as the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program and Sub-Internship Director since May 2022 and currently chairs the Internal Medicine Clinical Competency Committee. Previously, she held the role of Director of Faculty Development in the Division of Hospital Medicine at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Puri completed a Master of Science in Medical Education at the University of Pittsburgh. She is an active member of the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) Education Committee and the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine (APDIM) Faculty Development Task Force, contributing to national efforts in medical educator development.

At the local level, Dr. Puri has received multiple Medical School Teacher of the Ward awards and was inducted into the Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators.

Her educational philosophy centers on growth mindset, coaching, and self-directed learning. These principles guide her national workshops and scholarly publications, including work focused on integrating growth mindset approaches into medical training.
