SGIM is now accepting nominations for its 2025 Council positions.
Open positions include President-Elect, Secretary-Elect, two At-Large Council Members, and one Associate Council Member.
Members are encouraged to identify and nominate dedicated leaders who represent the diverse expertise, interests, and backgrounds within the Society. Serving on the SGIM Council offers a meaningful opportunity to influence the future of general internal medicine and contribute to the advancement of the field.
Nominees must be current SGIM members and demonstrate strong communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to generalist principles through active involvement in SGIM and related organizations. The Society welcomes nominations of individuals who have shown dedication through mentoring, volunteer service, and consistent participation in SGIM events.
Nominations are due by Monday, October 20, 2025. Help shape the next chapter of SGIM by submitting a nomination today.
