SGIM Northwest Award Nominations

Here are the awards that we are currently seeking nominations for:

1. Award for Excellence in Clinician Education: This award is primarily dedicated to recognizing individuals in the early phase of their careers, such as assistant professors. However, we also welcome nominations for individuals in mid-career who have recently shifted their focus to medical education.
2. Award for Excellence in Clinician Investigation: This award aims to highlight an outstanding Clinician Investigator within our region. It applies to individuals dedicated to advancing their careers in the field of Clinician Investigation.
3. Advocacy and Community Service Award: This award recognizes those among us who have significantly contributed to improving their communities’ health through advocacy and/or community service. It is a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the clinical setting.
4. Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award: The LGIM Award seeks to acknowledge mid-level and senior-level SGIM members who have played a pivotal role in promoting continued participation and contributions to Northwest SGIM from long-standing SGIM members. It celebrates leadership and dedication to our organization.

To be eligible for these awards, all nominees must be full members or associate members of SGIM. The nomination deadline is February 16, 2024.
