Showcase Your Work and Engage with General Internal Medicine Leaders

The SGIM Mid-Atlantic Region is excited to announce that the Call for Submissions is now open! This is your opportunity to showcase your work, contribute to the conversation in general internal medicine, and connect with peers across the region. We are accepting submissions in the following categories:

  • *New Category* Clinical Updates: Provide essential updates on clinical practice, research advances, and emerging trends across a wide range of specialties and topics.
  • Clinical Vignettes: Discuss patient-related cases and scenarios of educational value for a wider audience.
  • Scientific Abstracts: Report the results of original research, containing data and research results.
  • Innovations: Describe medical practice innovations, quality improvement projects, or educational innovations.
  • Workshops (60-Minute Format): Promote knowledge bases and enhance professional development.
  • Teaching Competition: This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills as an educator to the SGIM regional audience. This submission type is open to medical students, trainees, and junior faculty to show off their teaching skills.
  • Arts & Humanities: Submissions of visual art (hand or computer-generated), fiction or non-fiction narrative, and poetry pertinent to general internal medicine.

This is your chance to contribute to dynamic discussions on the future of general internal medicine while exploring how we can address the challenges of climate change and health equity.
