New England Region: Call for Award Nominations

The SGIM New England region is now accepting nominations for its regional awards, recognizing outstanding clinical educators, researchers, advocates, and community leaders. Nominations are open in five categories:

• Advocacy and Community Service Award
• Award for Excellence in Clinician Education
• Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award
• Award for Excellence in Clinician Investigation
• Regional DEI Award

Each nomination needs a current copy of the nominee’s CV, a letter of nomination from an SGIM member, and a letter of support from a division chief. Recipients will be recognized at the regional SGIM meeting.

The deadline for all nominations is October 5, 2026.
