Congress Funds the Government Through December 11
On September 2, President Trump signed the Senate-drafted continuing resolution (CR) to keep the government open until December 11. The CR, which passed the House last week with large bipartisan majorities in both chambers of Congress, will continue funding for government agencies and programs, most at the same level they were funded in fiscal year 2026.
