This is a recorded session from the SGIM 2026 Annual Meeting.
Diabetes is one of the most prevalent chronic conditions managed in primary care. In this presentation, the authors will use active learning strategies to engage learners in understanding the impact and relevance of the following papers on their clinical practice. This session will be divided into 5 brief clinical vignettes, each focused on a different common management question.
1) What are the new and coming therapies for type 2 diabetes?
2) What is the new evidence on diabetes subtypes?
3) What are therapies to improve complications in type 2 diabetes?
4) What are new devices for type 2 diabetes management?
5) What is the updated evidence on glycemic markers of diabetes management?
