The Southwest Region conducts annual elections each fall to appoint key officials from institutions across the region.

Call for Leadership Nominations
Southwest Leadership Board is seeking nominations for the following elected positions:
- President‐Elect
- Secretary/Treasurer‐ Elect
- Membership‐Elect
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair-Elect.
Qualifications for candidacy include a history of participation in SGIM activities at the regional level. We seek to identify candidates from a range of institutions in the Southwest region.
Call for Award Nominations
The SGIM Southwest Region is seeking nominations for the following awards:
- Advocacy and Community Service Award
- Award for Excellence in Clinician Education
- Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award
- Award for Excellence in Clinician Investigation
- Regional DEI Award
All nominees must be members of SGIM.
CME/MOC Southwest
EARN CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDITS™ and MOC POINTS. Attendees have 30 days following the meeting to complete the required evaluation survey(s).
