Midwest Region Call for Award Nominations

The SGIM Midwest region has developed rigorous criteria that recognize outstanding clinical educators, researchers, advocacy & community service, and leaders. These criteria go beyond those traditionally used for identifying those with excellence in research criteria, such as peer‐reviewed publications or grant support. Recipients will be recognized at the regional SGIM meeting.

The deadline for all award nominations is Monday, September 15, 2025

Nomination Requirements:

  • Current Copy of Nominee CV
  • Letter of Nomination from an SGIM Member
  • Letter of Support from a Division Chief

Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award

Award for Excellence in Clinician Investigation

Regional DEI Award
