Midwest Leadership

The Midwest Region conducts annual elections each fall to appoint key officials from institutions across the region. The following leadership positions are:

Call for Leadership Nominations

The Midwest Leadership Board is seeking nominations for the following elected positions:

  • PresidentElect
  • Secretary/Treasurer-Elect
  • MembershipElect
  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair-Elect.

Qualifications for candidacy include a history of participation in SGIM activities at the regional level. We seek to identify candidates from a range of institutions in the Midwest region.

Call for Award Nominations

  • Advocacy and Community Service Award
  • Award for Excellence in Clinician Education
  • Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award
  • Leadership Development Award
  • Regional DEI Award

All nominees must be members of SGIM.

EARN CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) AMA PRA CATEGORY 1 CREDITS™ and MOC POINTS.  Attendees have 30 days following the meeting to complete the required evaluation survey(s).
