Dataset Summary

The American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP) is a large, risk-adjusted, multi-center registry of surgical cases collected from more than 700 participating hospitals.

NSQIP captures detailed preoperative risk factors, intraoperative variables, and 30-day postoperative outcomes across surgical specialties. The registry is designed to benchmark institutional performance and drive surgical quality improvement through standardized, risk-adjusted outcome metrics.
