Overview
Dataset Summary
All of Us is a large, NIH-led prospective cohort study designed to advance precision medicine. The program aims to enroll one million or more participants with substantial phenotypic diversity across the United States. All of Us collects genotypic, environmental, and longitudinal health data, creating a rich resource for studying the interplay of genetics, lifestyle, and social determinants of health in the development and progression of disease.
Caveats
- A researcher’s institution must have a Data Use Agreement (DUA) in place with All of Us in order to register and access the data.
- While registration and data access are free, cloud-based storage and computational use may incur fees.
- As an ongoing cohort study, data availability and completeness may vary depending on release version and participant follow-up.
Examples of Outcomes Examined
- Health conditions and disease prevalence
- Single nucleotide variants (SNVs)
- Gene-environment interactions
- Health disparities in precision medicine
