Biography

Dr. Tracey L. Henry is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Henry’s teaching and research interests include healthcare advocacy and policy, health equity, quality improvement and patient safety; climate change, and integrated behavioral health. Dr. Henry earned her MD at Georgetown University and MPH from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Henry completed a Health Policy Fellowship at Georgetown University, where she studied primary care-related health policies, healthcare delivery systems, and alternative payment models. Dr. Henry was a 2020 SGIM’s LEAHP Scholar, a 2021 SGIM Unified Leadership Training for Diversity Fellow, a 2021 AMA Health Systems Science Scholar, and a 2022 Climate and Health Equity Fellow (Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health). Currently, she serves as the Co-Chair of SGIM’s Health Policy Education Subcommittee, a member of their Clinical Practice Subcommittee, the Health Equity Commission, an SGIM Forum Associate Editor, and the SGIM Health Policy Executive Committee.
