Biography
Dr. Steve Fuest is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado. He is a clinician educator and primary care physician. His education roles include precepting residents and medical students, teaching first-year medical students history, exam, and clinical reasoning skills, and collaborating with clerkship preceptors and students as clerkship liaison. He is also the director of Grand Rounds for the Division of General Internal Medicine.
Within SGIM, Dr. Fuest is co-chair of the Clinical Practice Committee and has previously been on the Annual Meeting Planning Committee as Chair for Clinical Vignettes. He’s actively participated in and presented at Annual and Regional meetings. For JGIM, he contributes as an Associate Editor. Dr. Fuest is excited to further the Northwest region as Secretary/Treasurer-Elect.
