Biography
Dr. Harris is a clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA. She completed all of her medical training at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, including a VA Special Fellowship in Women’s Health and a Geriatrics Fellowship. She then moved to Medstar/Georgetown in D.C. in order to join an academic home visit program. Family matters then took her to Los Angeles, where she continued the home visit model and created the Medical Home Visit Program (MVP) at UCLA. She is currently the Clinical Chief of Geriatrics and the director of the MVP. She has been an active member of SGIM since her residency, has served on the Health Policy Committee, and recently rotated off as Chair of the Geriatrics Commission.
