Nikhil Sood, MD

Dr. Sood is a well-rounded hospitalist and passionate medical advocate. He actively engages in academic writing, hospital committee work, quality improvement projects, and advocacy with various organizations. He has already published several articles and a book chapter in good journals and is actively writing multiple articles. He is on a peer review committee of several journals, including Annals of Internal Medicine Clinical Cases Med Science Monitor and JMIR Human Factors. He is an Arizona Medical Board Outside Consultant, where he helps the board by providing opinions and advice on handling complaints against other physicians. He judges posters and abstracts for national meetings. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Medical Reports journal, which Elsevier publishes.
