Biography

Dr. Windish completed her BA at Cornell University, her MD at the University of Connecticut, and an MPH at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Windish is Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, Associate Chair for the Educational Scholarship Department of Internal Medicine, Director of the ACES (Advancement of Clinician-Educator Scholarship) Faculty Development Program in Internal Medicine, Director of Resident Research for the Yale Primary Care Residency Program, and Program Director of the General Internal Medicine Medical Education Fellowship. Education and educational scholarship are her priority research interests. Dr. Windish sees patients in the primary care setting and in the hospital. She was the recipient of SGIM’s Mid-Career Education Mentorship Award and the Frederick L. Brancati Mentorship and Leadership Award.
