Christopher Bruti, MD/MPH, SFHM

Dr. Bruti is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and works as an academic hospitalist in both specialties. He has been both the Associate Program Director and Program Director of the Med-Peds program at Rush since he finished residency in 2011. Dr. Bruti has been involved in Undergraduate Medical Education as the former Associate Clerkship Director and as a leader in the Rush University Interprofessional Education Curriculum. Later, Dr. Bruti became involved in Hospital Medicine leadership, eventually becoming the Chief of the Division of Hospital Medicine in 2020, overseeing a division of 70 physicians and a dozen APPs. Dr. Bruti has been involved in both SGIM and SHM through national committees as well as serving as the Midwest Region President for SGIM in 2017-2018. Dr. Bruti has strong interests in medical education, faculty development, business of medicine, and quality.
