Biography
Dr. Bennett is a fifth-year resident in the combined internal medicine and psychiatry residency program at Emory University. An Atlanta native, Dr. Bennett earned her undergraduate degree from Davidson College, graduating magna cum laude with honors in biology and a minor in French. After graduation, she was awarded a Fulbright research grant to study cell-free DNA sequencing techniques at the Luxembourg Institute of Health. She then matriculated to Emory University, where she earned her MD and MPH, graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. During residency, she was awarded first place in the Inaugural Teaching Competition at the SGIM Southern Regional Conference in 2023, as well as a National Young Scholars in GIM Scholarship to attend the National SGIM Conference in 2025. In the 2026-2027 academic year, she will serve as the Ambulatory Chief Resident for the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Program at Emory.
