Congress in a Time Crunch to Address Rising Health Care Costs
This week, Congress is expected to take legislative action on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies, which will expire on January 1. This will lead to significantly higher premiums for many Americans in 2026 unless Congress reaches a bipartisan agreement to extend the enhanced ACA subsidies or come up with an alternative to lower the healthcare costs by the end of the month.
