Government Shutdown Ends After 43 Days

On November 12, Congress passed a continuing resolution (CR), ending the longest government shutdown in history. The CR extends funding at fiscal year (FY) 2025 levels through January 30, when funding for most federal programs will again expire without further action from Congress.
