Nominations Open for SGIM Northwest Regional Leadership Positions and Awards

The Northwest Regional Leadership is excited to announce that nominations are now open for leadership positions and prestigious awards. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of SGIM and recognize the outstanding achievements of your peers.

Important Dates:

• Nomination Deadline: January 9, 2026
• Leadership Election Opens: January 14, 2026
• Leadership Election Closes: January 30, 2026
• Decision Due by Awards Committee: January 30, 2026

Call for Leadership Nominations

Northwest Leadership Board is seeking nominations for the following elected positions:

• President‐Elect
• Secretary/Treasurer‐ Elect
• Membership‐Elect
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair-Elect.

Qualifications for candidacy include a history of participation in SGIM activities at the regional level. We seek to identify candidates from a range of institutions in the Northwest region.

Call for Awards Nominations

The SGIM Northwest Region is seeking nominations for the following awards:

• Advocacy and Community Service Award
• Award for Excellence in Clinician Education
• Leader in General Internal Medicine (LGIM) Award
• Award for Excellence in Clinician Investigation
• Regional DEI Award

All nominees must be members of SGIM.
