On this podcast, Dr. Bussey-Jones will speak with Past President’s of SGIM, discussing the experiences, challenges, and successes from their presidential year to highlight the history of SGIM for our members.
Dr. Bass interviews Dr. Chuang, president of ACLGIM, to discuss how ACLGIM is tackling the critical topic of leadership challenges. Drs. Liebschutz and Green recap of the ACLGIM Hess institute from the 2024 Annual Meeting. They describe the multiple workgroups convened at Hess and their deliverables over a multiyear period to enhance leadership and GIM for members and trainees.
Under the mentorship of Dr. Henry, Dr. Gurley and colleagues describe initiatives they have undertaken at Grady Memorial to enhance voter registration and participation through a multipronged approach, reminding SGIM members that voting is a social determinant. SGIM Forum Associate Editor Bhowmik communicates his lived experiences as a student attending the 2024 Annual Meeting by defining how the meeting theme matched his attendance at various program offerings during the multiday event.
