This is a recorded session from the SGIM 2025 Annual Meeting in Florida.
Generalists must stay abreast of novel research methods to understand, generate, and use the most important research findings and provide the highest-quality care to patients. Being well-informed of cutting-edge research methods allows generalist researchers to conduct innovative and influential research and critically appraise research methods to select the most appropriate methods to answer a research question.
The SGIM Research Committee will present the 4-5 most important peer-reviewed papers published in the past two years that have applied novel methods in studies of interest to generalists.
