Representatives from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) describe its recommendation development process, how it disseminates its recommendations, and new key recommendations, which include Statin Use for the Primary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and Screening for Latent Tuberculosis Infection in Adults.

  2. Describe how patient-clinician shared decision making is a critical component of the USPSTF recommendations
