This module-based, educational resource was developed by the EBM Subcommittee of the SGIM Clinical Practice Committee, to support program directors, junior faculty, and trainees to understand basic EBM concepts and integrate EBM into didactic sessions and clinical practice. These modules are self-paced and are intended for asynchronous learning. Each can generally be completed in 60-90 minutes.
An additional goal of this course is to expand the network of EBM teachers and learners in the SGIM community. All of the contributors to this course have extensive backgrounds teaching EBM to medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty. If you are interested in connecting with any of the contributors to ask questions, request additional resources, or inquire about guest lectures, their email addresses are listed with their content below. Additional inquiries can be sent to: SGIM-EBM@connectedcommunity.org.
