CDIM-SGIM Core Medicine Clerkship Guide
The Core Medicine Clerkship Curriculum Guide was created through the collaboration of SGIM and the Clerkship Directors in Internal Medicine (CDIM).  Formats include the Full Curriculum Guide and the Curriculum Pocket Guide (both version 3.0).

Medical Resident Clinic Directors "Orientation Manual"
Based on a consensus process, members of the Medical Resident Clinic Directors Interest Group (MRCDIG) of SGIM developed learning objectives for faculty and clinic directors practicing in medical residents' continuity clinics. These were presented during a precourse at the SGIM national meeting in May, 2002. Subsequently, they have revised and refined the content to create the Medical Resident Clinic Directors Interest Group (MRCDIG) orientation manual. The primary goal has been to create a document that can serve to guide clinic directors and faculty as they develop programs to meet their local needs and to help orient new faculty to this key learning environment.

Complementary and Alternative Medicine Education in Internal Medicine
Lead by primary author, Michael Rotblatt, MD, PharmD, The Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) interest group of SGIM created a policy statement brief concerning CAM education in Internal Medicine training. This statement is designed to: introduce Internal Medicine educators to the importance of CAM education and suggest possible goals and strategies for a CAM curriculum. Appendix A provides CAM definitions and controversies of use. Appendix B provides suggested CAM resources.

Clinician-Educator Resources in Geriatrics
The SGIM Geriatrics Task Force and Geriatrics Interest Group provide educational products and recommendations for the education of medical residents who are learning geriatrics.

A Train the Trainer Guide: Health Disparities Education
The SGIM Disparities Task Force created A Train the Trainer Guide (2008) to assist in teaching disparities in the clinical setting, beyond the clinical setting, and in community involvement and social justice. The Guide also provides disparities data as well as information about the role of social determinants, health care, and provider-patient encounters.

HIV Counseling and Testing Materials for Educators
The HIV Counseling and Testing section of SGIM's site is designed for general internists and clinician educators to facilitate expanded HIV testing in primary care settings. Key points of the CDC’s guidelines are summarized with links to resources to aid physicians in implementation. The resources listed in this toolkit are categorized under clinician educator teaching tools, patient education, and clinic preparation and can be found under the individual guidelines or collectively at the left side menu.
