Surfer’s Ear

A 48-year-old, healthy cold-water surfer for the past 20 years presented with a 5-year history of a sensation of blockage in his ears while swimming. He denied having otalgia, tinnitus, or hearing loss. Otoscopic examination of both ears showed two torose lesions on the walls of the external auditory canal (Figure 1).
