Teaching Skills Retreat

Please join educators from across the region in interactive and informative workshops designed to enhance teaching skills and network with colleagues. .Whether you are a novice or seasoned educator, these dynamic workshops will have something for everyone!

Prior to the Education Skills Retreat, please join us for a one-hour neighborhood walking tour that will highlight key local organizations that help our patients address determinants of health (homelessness, food access) that occur outside of the clinic walls. This session will be modelled after a similar Neighborhood Health curriculum that we deliver to all interns in our residency program. We hope that this brief session will highlight one model for integrating education around social determinants of health into a busy medical training program.
