Poster Presentations Instructions

  • The poster board provided by SGIM measures 4’ in height x 8’ in length. Your poster must be able to fit on the board. We suggest you make the dimensions of your poster smaller than the board to allow for an easier visual accompaniment to your presentation.
  • Review panels for your respective submission category will be present to judge your poster presentation for the Best Poster in each category. It is advised that you stand next to your poster for the duration of session, or until the reviewers have seen your work.
  • Push pins will be available for use. If your display does not hang easily on the corkboard with push pins, please have the materials you need to make it work (tape, rubber bands, scissors, etc).
  • Please remove your poster completely from the board, even if you do not wish to keep it. Any posters left after this time will be disposed of accordingly by the facility’s staff. SGIM is not responsible for materials left in the poster session area, nor will we hold your poster at Registration at any time during the conference.
