MEETING MOBILE APP

As part of SGIM's initiative to host environmentally sound regional meetings, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting will be paperless. There will be no printed agendas or other handouts at the meeting. All documents and last-minute room/schedule changes will be transmitted/communicated via the mobile meeting app. We highly encourage you to use the app for the most up-to-date information. The app can be accessed across multiple devices.

             **If you attended the SGIM23 meeting in Colorado earlier this year, you may already have the app on your phone.

How to download and install the mobile app:

  1. Search the keyword “SGIM” on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  2. Once you open the app, select the logo for the event you wish to access: 2023 Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting.
  3. Press the "Select event" button at the bottom of your screen to load the event.
  4. Click the Login Button and enter the email you used to register.
  5. Check your email for the sign in link.
  6. You will be logged in until you log yourself out.
  7. Customize your experience by using the menu along the bottom of the screen.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

SGIM is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all SGIM meeting attendees. SGIM monitors guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as federal, state, and local health authorities.

Final event guidelines will be available to all registered attendees in the week prior to the meeting.

By registering and attendee the meeting, you agree to:

  • You will follow event guidelines around masking wearing and other safety precautions as per current guidelines set forth by the CDC.
  • You will NOT ATTEND if feeling ill in the days leading up to and the morning of the meeting and will notify SGIM of your absence.
  • If you test positive for COVID-19 within the week following the event, you will immediately notify SGIM for contact tracing purposes.

HOTEL INFORMATION

SGIM has reserved a block of rooms at the Edge Hotel for a rate of $329 + tax per night. Please call their reservations department at (212) 543-0005 and mention you are with SGIM (Society of General Internal Medicine) to receive our rate.

Hotel rooms are in high demand in NYC the weekend of the meeting, so we highly recommend you book your accommodations ASAP. There are a limited number of rooms available at the SGIM rate at the Edge Hotel until the Sunday, August 6th cutoff date.
