Thank you for making our Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting a success!  We are pleased to announce our next regional meeting will be held in the Spring of 2011.  

Seeking Nominations for an Associate Member of the SGIM Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Committee

The SGIM Mid-Atlantic Region is seeking nominations of residents and fellows willing to serve as an associate member on the planning committee. The successful candidate will help plan the regional meeting and develop strategies to make SGIM more attractive to other associate members (i.e. students, residents and fellows). The position requires a two-year commitment that includes monthly, one hour conference calls, attendance at the annual regional meeting, and involvement with planning sub-committees (e.g. mentoring program).
 
Nominated candidates should send a Curriculum Vitae and a single paragraph (less than 150 words) with the following information:

- Name, training level, and institution
- Contact information
- Any prior involvement with SGIM (not required)
- Future plans and commitment to general internal medicine
- Brief description of reasons for interest in the position
